<image:caption>Katie Gill, a Philly-based health coach needed a full on brand, website and social assets when she created Katie Gill Wellness in early 2017. I was fortunate enough to have (and continue to have!) a wonderful working relationship with Katie, who ultimately gave me full creative trust and control of her brand. I developed a brand that stemmed from the 3 pillars of KGW: mental health, physical health and spirit. <image:caption>FOLIO is an open source community website that began with a tight design deadline and a completely open visual concept: an (exciting!) challenge to say the least! Before a sitemap, wires and completed content were even started, I had to come up with three very different visual design directions for community members to vote on. Things I kept in mind when designing each comp? Open Source, Community, Librarianship, Technology. Ultimately, the honey-comb inspired design led the new brand, along with bold colors and strong typography. Design Programs: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator</image:caption>

<image:caption>When EBSCO acquired GOBI, formerly YBP Library Services, I was tasked with creating the visual design for the website while leading and designing a full rebrand. After a tour of the New Hampshire office and a brief on what the Library Solutions team does, I presented three concepts to a variety of influential stakeholders: The People (behind GOBI), The Environment (the tools and expertise behind GOBI) and The Lifestyle (the time and places you get back when working with GOBI). Fortunately, (and maybe a little unfortunately!) the stakeholders enjoyed all three concepts, meaning my next step was to seamlessly merge these visual ideas without the brand looking like a distasteful hodge podge of ideas. With the brand direction decided, the website was next. I worked closely with the content leaders, UX designer and site developer to create a sleek, informative site that concentrated on the highlights of working with GOBI, as well as the history of people who have dedicated their careers to work for GOBI. <image:caption>As the lead visual designer of the corporate website, EBSCO.com, I created a visual and interactive brand guideline, various responsive layouts and led a team of designers that created custom illustrations throughout the site. Since the relaunch of EBSCO.com, key metrics have improved. Click through rates are up and bouce rates are down.</image:caption>
